On 26th May, Celebrity Infinity (Flag of the Republic of Malta) visited Passenger Port of St. Petersburg “Marine Façade” for the first time, the company says in its press release. The vessel belongs to the company «Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises». Within the 7 - day cruise the ship visited the ports of Copenhagen and Tallinn. In Saint - Petersburg she will stay for one day and then proceed to Helsinki and Stockholm. 2,150 passengers arrived in Saint-Petersburg on board of Celebrity Infinity.

294 meters long vessel with 12 decks and a capacity of 2,170 passengers was built in 2001 at the shipyard "Chantiers de L'Atlantique".

Cruise operator «Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises» was founded in 1969 in Norway and offers cruise tours in 270 cities in 72 countries on 6 continents. «Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises» comprises five cruise lines: Royal Caribbean Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Cruises, Pullmantur Cruises and CDF Croisières de France. The operator’s fleet numbers 40 vessels.

JSC Passenger Port of St. Petersburg "Marine Façade" is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 311 m long and with a draft of up to 9 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay wall length – 2,171.06 m.
