Anichkov Bridge tanker owned by Sovcomflot has obtained a permit for passing the Northern Sea Route Seafarers’ Union of Russia was informed by Aleksandr Kulakov, Deputy Chairman of the Union’s Baltic Unit.
The request of SCF Neva, another tanker of Sovcomflot, is under consideration now.
From January 1 till May 26 of the current year, NSR Administration received 107 requests for a permit to pass the Northern Sea Route. 74 requests have been satisfied. Over the same period of 2013, NSR Administration received 49 requests (27 were satisfied).
