Sultan Batov has been elected to the position of CEO (General Director) of PJSC NCSP by the extraordinary general meeting of PJSC NCSP shareholders, which also terminated prematurely the powers of the previous CEO Yuriy Matvienko, NCSP says in its press release.
Sultan Batov was unanimously approved by the Board of Directors of PJSC NCSP as the single candidate for CEO on 3 July 2014.
Earlier Sulan Batov held the position of the CEO of LLC Baltic Stevedoring Company, Kaliningrad-based asset of NCSP Group.
As Yuriy Matvienko told IAA PortNews, he has not come up with the new position yet.
NCSP Group is the largest port operator in Russia and the third-largest in Europe, in terms of cargo turnover. NCSP Group cargo turnover in 2013 totalled 141 million tonnes. Consolidated revenue to IFRS in 2012 totalled USD 928 million and EBITDA was USD 510 million. NCSP Group consolidates the following companies: PJSC Novorossiysk Commercial Sea Port, LLC Primorsk Trade Port, PJSC Novorossiysk Grain Terminal, OJSC Novorossiysk Ship Repair Yard, OJSC NCSP Fleet, OJSC NLE, OJSC IPP, CJSC Baltic Stevedore Company, and CJSC SFP.
