Oil spill response headquarter exercise held at port Novorossiysk (photo)

On August 14, headquarter exercise “Response to oil spill caused by LUKOIL-BUNKER’s Aginskoye tanker” was held at the port of Novorossiysk, says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency

LUKOIL-BUNKER LLC was in charge of arranging and holding of oil spill response activities.

The exercise involved the team & emergency equipment of Azov - Black Sea Branch of FSI Gosmorspassluzhba (State Marine Rescue Service): salvage and boom boat Anatoly Tkachev, salvage and boom boat Anatoly  Veretekhin, salvage and boom boat Spasatel-1 Parker; bunkering tanker Aginskoye of LUKOIL-BUNKER LLC; Novoecoservis LLC; FSUE Rosmorport.

The purpose of the exercise was to practice organization of cooperation between the Azov - Black Sea Branch of FSI Gosmorspassluzhba, LUKOIL-BUNKER LLC, Novoecoservis LLC and FSUE Rosmorport; to check preparedness of the team & emergency equipment for rescue of vessels in distress and oil spill response activities; to practice unfolding of equipment for rescue of a vessel in distress, localization and oil spill response activities.
