Passenger-and-freight ferry Crym completes her first voyage across Kerch Strait (photo)
Passenger-and-freight ferry Crym (Crimea) has completed her first voyage across the Kerch Strait, says press center of the United Transport Directorate.
The Crym was built in 1979, her length is 99.5 m, breadth - 18 m. The ferry can take aboard up to 300 passengers and up to 160 passenger cars.
As of August 24, six ferries and catamaran Sochi-1 operated at the Kerch ferry service with the queue of 60 automobiles at port Crimea and 220 automobiles at port Kavkaz. According to UTD, waiting time in the ports does not exceed 2 hours.
