Nevsky Shipyard to build passenger and cargo self-propelled ferry for «Lenavtodor» (photo)
In August, 2014 Nevsky Shipyard LLC and Automobile road department of Leningrad region signed Contract for the construction of Passenger and cargo self-propelled ferry for the river Svir in urban-type settlement Voznesenye of the Podporozhsky district in the Leningrad region, the shipyard says in its press release.
The ferry will transport motor transport and passengers across the river.

Nevsky Shipyard got the right to conclude the given contract having won the open competitive tender. The Tender Committee announced the results of the tender on July, 25th of this year.
Shlisselburg, St. Petersburg based Nevsky Shipyard LLC, is a subsidiary of North-Western Shipping Company (part of UCL Holding). Nevsky Shipyard is one of the oldest enterprises of water transport in Russia’s the North-West. The company has been engaged in shipbuilding since 1952. The company builds mixed sea-river class vessels of various types and purposes and provides ranged repair services. Nevsky Shipyard’s slipway allows launching and lifting for repair 140-m-long vessels with dock weight of up to 3,000 tonnes.
