EVRAZ NCSP puts into operation 4 new loaders
EVRAZ Nakhodka Commercial Sea Port has put into operation four new front end loaders XGMA, the company’s press center says.
This equipment is intended for the coal terminal which is to be created in the port through integration of two transshipment complexes (No1 and No 3).
In August 2014, the port accepted the second coal screening machine EDGE FTS65 (the first one arrived in January). Besides, a multipurpose road maintenance vehicle has been accepted recently for coal dust suppression at the roads and technological approaches.
In the nearest future, the port will also see the arrival of more state-of-the-art equipment for coal transshipment.
EVRAZ Nakhodka Commercial Sea Port is a major stevedore company operating at the largest Russia’s Far Eastern Port of Nakhodka, located in the eastern Gulf of Peter the Great, in Nakhodka Bay. The port is linked to the Eurasian continent through the Trans-Siberian Railway, serving the Asia-Europe-Asia trade flows. JSC EVRAZ NCSP operates on 15 cargo berths and one facility for handling the port’s workboats, of total length of 3.5 km, which can accommodate ships with length of 230m, breadth of 32m and draft of 11 m.
