On 7-10 October 2014, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) will participate in Offshore Marintec Russia, the International Conference and Exhibition, a new project for the Russian market, RS says in its press release. The event is focused on offshore development and is dedicated to the specialists of oil and gas industry.
During the exhibition RS will present "Member’s Area" - a new information service which enables the RS customers, depending on the category, to access various RS information resources and databases.
RS experts will actively participate in the Conference. Within the Conference Session ’Development of Modern Offshore Fleet for the Exploration of the Arctic and the Shelf of Russia‘ Georgiy Bedrik, Head of RS Business Development Division, will deliver a report on the RS role in the construction and operation of ships and offshore facilities intended for operation in heavy ice conditions of the Arctic seas. Andrey Avdonkin, Head of RS Offshore Oil and Gas Facilities Design Expertise Department, will share information on the RS survey experience of the Caspian offshore facilities construction at the Conference Session ’Innovative Oil and Gas Projects on the Arctic Continental Shelf‘.
