In September 2014, the GM Series semisubmersible drilling rig, provided by CIMC Raffles, was awarded “Rig of the Month” in Norway. It is the sixth time that CIMC Raffles acquires this title, the company said in its press release.

On 8th October, COSLProspector, the fourth GM series semisubmersible drilling rig by CIMC Raffles, commenced its sea trial. It will be delivered in November. As the 9th semisubmersible rig delivered by CIMC Raffles, COSLProspector is the symbol that China has already owned the capability for semisubmersible drilling rig bulk delivery.
