Damen supports the II International Forum of Dredging Companies as its Sponsor. The Forum will be held in Moscow on February 19’ 2015. Venue: The St. Regis Moscow Nikolskaya (Nikolskaya street, 12). The event is organized by Media-Group PortNews with FSUE Rosmorport as a Partner.
Damen was established in 1927. As of today, Damen Shipyards Group (with its Head Office in Gorinchem, the Netherlands) consists of 32 yards and 8,000 employees worldwide. Since 1969 Damen Shipyards has delivered more than 5,000 vessels. On average it delivers around 180 vessels a year. Damen specializes in construction of tugs, boats, patrol vessels, high-speed crafts, cargo ships, dredgers, platforms service vessels, oil spill response ships, frigates and mega-yachts.
Damen Shiprepair & Conversion (DSC) part of Damen Shipyards Group offers a network of 16 repair and conversion yards worldwide, with dry docks ranging up to 420 x 80 metres. Conversion projects range from adapting vessels to today’s requirements and regulations to the complete conversion of large offshore structures. DSC handles 1,500 repair and maintenance jobs annually.
