  Epic Bali involved in search and rescue operation off Italy

  

  On November 21, 2014, the crew of Epic Gas vessel Epic Bali came to the rescue of migrants in distress off Italy, the company said in its press release.

  Search and rescue operations involved 5 rescue boats and 4 ships in coordination with the Italian Coast Guard. Epic Bali crew brought a total of 78 survivors to safety and at least 93 more were rescued by another vessel. Sadly, there are unconfirmed reports that a number of people remain missing.
