Oil price up to $50.17 in London and up to $48.69 in New York

On January 16, Brent crude for March delivery gained $1.9 to settle at $50.17 per barrel on ICE Futures Europe, Light sweet crude for February delivery climbed by $2.44 to $48.69 on New York Mercantile Exchange.
