Throughput of Sevastopol seaports down 65.6% to 2.22 mln t in 2014

In 2014, the ports and the berths of Sevastopol handled 2,229,500 t of cargo (-65.6%, year-on-year), statistics agency of Sevastopol says.

In the reported period, they handled 1,435,600 mln t of export cargo, 491,300 t of transit cargo, 200,200 t of inland traffic cargo, 14,400 t of import cargo. 

In 2014, 264 vessels were handled in Sevastopol.

In December, municipal water transport companies carried 600,300 passengers (+63.1%, year-on-year). Over the year, water transport companies of Sevastopol serviced 6,164,900 passengers.
