Marietje Nora launched at Barkmeijer Shipyards in Stroobos

After christening and name giving by miss Astrid Roggen, 9000 DWT m.v. Marietje Nora was launched at Barkmeijer Shipyards in Stroobos on February 6 14th, the company said in its press release.

The Marietje Nora is last in a series of four 1A ice-classed nozzle fitted vessels Barkmeijer is building for the Danser-Van Gent family in Delfzijl. Principal particulars: length overall 136,10 m., width 15,20 m., moulded depth 9,50 m., main engine: 2999 kW B&W MAN-diesel. The expected delivery of mv Marietje Nora is said to be June.
