Allocations of Multipurpose Reloading Complex (Ust-Luga) for production capacity development hit RUB 159.5 mln in 2014

In 2014 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) transferred 159.5 mln Rubles for the development of production capacities of the terminal.

Main part of the funds, 156.1 mln Rubles, was transferred for purchase of new equipment within the programme on technical re-equipment of the company and development of the port infrastructure, 3.4 mln Rubles were transferred for lease payments for earlier purchased equipment.

In 2014 2 MANTSINEN 120R manipulator-cranes with the bucket capacity of 5 m³ and 2 KOMATSU WA420-3В front-loaders with the bucket capacity of 5.5 m³ were set into operation. Their use enabled to increase the speed of handling of railcars at the terminal and ensured the growth of turnover of the company. Hence average day discharge of the open-top railcars increased by 16% up to 157 units in comparison with the last year, maximum discharge was 276 open-top railcars per day.

Within the reporting period company’s funds were also transferred for modernization of water treatment facilities, construction of new amenity premises has begun.

LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (included in UCL Port- stevedoring division of the International transportation group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, specializing in acceptance, storage and shipment of export and import general and bulk cargoes. Main cargo handled by the company is power coal. In 2014 the turnover of Multipurpose Reloading Complex amounted to 4 mln tons which exceeded by 15% the result of 2013.
