Coal exports from Russia down 1.5% to 35.7 mln t in Jan-Mar’15

In January-March, Russian coal exports fell by 31.5% (561 mln t), year-on-year, to 35.7 mln t, the Ministry of Energy statistics said.

In March, coal exports climbed 0.5% (60,200 t) to 12.675 mln t.

Coal production in March increased by 1.4% (+418,100 t) to 29.58 mln t (27.141 mln t supplied).
