Ship Repair and Shipbuilding Corporation delivers its first serial floating dock to Russia’s Northern Fleet

On May 15, 2015, Ship Repair and Shipbuilding Corporation OJSC (Gorodets, Nizhni Novgorod region) dispatched its first floating dock built for the Northern Fleet of RF Navy by inland water ways of the Russian Federation, the company’s Deputy Director Sergei Molodtsov told IAA PortNews. 

All in all, the Northern Fleet is to take delivery of 4 more similar docks built by SRSBC. The sixth serial floating dock is to be built and delivered the Black Sea Fleet in 2016.

Three-section metal berth ПМ-61М is 150 meters long (each section is 50 meters long).
