Sergey Frank, President and CEO of Sovcomflot, who also heads the Supervisory Board of the Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University, participated in the meeting of the University administration. At the meeting, Rector Sergey Ogay reported on the University achievements having noted the RUB 400 mln deficit of financing, IAA PortNews journalist reports.
Sergey Frank, who represents the interests of business, maritime community and the University (being its graduate) said that efficient ways should be jointly elaborated for further development of the University.
According to him, Sovcomflot especially welcomes specialists with the knowledge and skills related to Arctic navigation as well as electrical engineers as safe operation in adverse climatic conditions and energy efficiency are still among the priorities for Russia’s largest shipping company.
