President of Russian Railways Vladimir Yakunin and Presidential adviser, Ex-Minister of Transport Igor Levitin have called for revision of infrastructure financing principles in Russia, IAA PortNews correspondent reports from the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). According to Vladimir Yakunin, the experience of Japan should be applied and targeted rouble loans with low rates should be granted for infrastructure projects by the Central Bank of Russia.
Igor Levitin believes it would be reasonable to revise the budgeting principles in order to allocate more funds for infrastructure.
