Ocean Yield ASA announces delivery of chemical tanker with 15 years charter

Ocean Yield ASA has announced the delivery of the 37,000 dwt IMO II chemical tanker "Navig8 Aquamarine" from Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, Korea. After being delivered from the shipyard today, the vessel commenced a 15 years "hell and high water" bareboat charter to Navig8 Chemical Tankers Inc. This is the second vessel delivered in a series of total eight chemical carriers that will be chartered to Navig8 Chemical Tankers Inc. The first vessel was delivered on 1 June, the company said in its press release.
