Rosoboronexport’s backlog of orders for warships exceeds $5 bln, IAA PortNews journalist cites Igor Sevastyanov, Deputy Director General of Rosoboronexport, as saying at the 7th International Maritime Defence Show in Saint-Petersburg.
According to Igor Sevastyanov, since the company foundation 15 years ago it has exported surface and underwater ships for the total sum exceeding $21 bln.
USC President Aleksei Rakhmanov said, in his turn, that orders of RF Defence Ministry account for 80-85% of the Corporation’s revenues.
Rosoboronexport associates its prospects in the world markets with submarines of projects 636 and Amur-1650, frigates of projects 11356 and Gepard-3.9, missile corvettes Molnaya, patrol boats Svetlyak and Mirage, etc.
The Seventh International Maritime Defence Show has opened in Saint-Petersburg today, July 1, 2015. The event will last till July 5.
The organizer of IMDS-2015 is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The Exhibition is held with participation of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation, the Government of St. Petersburg and Rosoboronexport OJSC.
