In January-June 2015, seaport of Azov handled 3,423,000 t of different cargo (-26%, year-on-year), the port Harbour Master Viktor Zavozin told IAA PortNews.
In the reported period, transshipment of grain fell by 10.4% to 1,579,000 t, oil products – by 44.1% to 1,269,000 t. Coal transshipment increased by 43.1% to 292,000 t.
Exports fell by 31.3% to 1,551,000, imports – by 47.7% to 135,000 t, transit – by 44.4% to 1,132,000 t. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo totaled 604,000 t (no coastal trade cargo was handled in January-June 2014).
In January-June 2015, the port authorities registered 1,390 incoming and 1,407 outgoing vessels against 1,853 incoming and 1,868 outgoing vessels a year ago.
