Draft law submitted to State Duma is aimed at changing procedures for appointment of federal agencies’ deputy heads

RF Government has submitted to the State Duma the draft law according to which the appointment of deputy heads of federal services and agencies subordinate to federal ministries run by the Government should be done by the Government upon the recommendation of the federal ministries (such appointments are currently made the Ministers themselves). The Decree of RF Government on submitting the draft law to the State Duma (dated August 8, No 1540-r) has been published at the official website of RF Government.

The draft law was considered and approved at RF Government meeting on August 4, 2015.
