VARD secures contract for one coastal fishing vessel for Breivik AS

Vard Holdings Limited , one of the major global  designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels has secured a contract  for the  construction of one coastal fishing vessel for Breivik AS of  Norway . The vessel is scheduled for delivery from Vard  Braila in  Romania in  3 Q 2016 , securing  work for  the yard in all stages of production.  The value of the contract is approximately NOK 60 million. The vessel is of the well proven Seacon  SC34 desi gn, and is equipped with a factory and  freezing plant.  Brei vik AS, based in Florø, Norway, has been fishing in the North Atlantic for  more than  3 0 years, and is eager to take delivery of  this state - of - the - art Gill Netter.
