Transas T-Bridge for three Ice Class vessels

Transas Marine has completed the installation and commissioning of the Transas T-Bridge integrated bridge systems for three Ice Class vessels built by Keppel Singmarine, the specialised shipbuilding subsidiary of Keppel Offshore & Marine. The Company says the official naming ceremony for the three vessels took place on September 10th, 2015 at Keppel Singmarine's shipyard in Singapore.

 

Transas supplied Integrated Bridge Systems including full navigation systems, external & internal communication systems, and CCTV.  Known for its cutting-edge solutions for the maritime industry, Transas T-Bridge is designed to add further safety to navigation, simplify bridge operations, and offers a flexible bridge configuration.

The installations were carried out on board Hull 383 (Bumi Uray) Ice Class Supply Vessel, Hull 384 (Bumi Pokachi) Ice Class Supply Vessel and Hull 385 (Bumi Naryan-Mar) Ice Class Multi-Purpose Rescue Vessel at Keppel Singmarine's shipyard. All vessels are built for Bumi Armada Berhad, a Malaysia-based international offshore oilfield services provider and one of the top owners and operators of OSVs in Asia. When delivered, the vessels will operate in the Caspian Sea.
