In January-September 2015, Russian Railways loaded 900.3 mln t of cargo (-1.4%, year-on-year), the company’s press center says.
In the reported period, Russian Railways loaded 234,2 mln t of coal (+2%. year-on-year); 8.4 mln t of coke (-3.1%); 188.8 mln t of crude and oil products (-1%); 81.4 mln t of iron and manganese ore (+0.6%); 53.9 mln t of ferrous metal (+1.1%); 11.4 mln t of ferrous metal scrap (-6.3%); 38.1 mln t of chemical and mineral fertilizers (+2.6%); 22.6 mln t of cement (-12.4%); 29.9 mln t of timber (+2%); 12.5 mln t of grain (+6.1%); 97 mln t of construction materials (-11.5%); 15.4 mln t of non-ferrous ore and raw sulphur (+4.8%); 18.5 mln t of chemicals and soda (-2.5%); 26.1 mln t of industrial raw materials and molding materials (-1.9%).
In the reported period, the company’s cargo turnover totaled 1,705.8 bln tarrif t-km (-0.1%). Cargo turnover including empty wagon run — 2,188.2 bln t-km ( 0.5%).
In September Russian Railways loaded 103.5 mln t of cargo (-1.2%, year-on-year). Cargo turnover declined by 0.7% to 192.1 bln tarrif t-km. Cargo turnover including empty wagon run fell by 1% to 244.6 bln t-km.
