In January-September 2015, seaport Temryuk handled 2.052 mln t of cargo (+35%, year-on-year), the port Authority told IAA PortNews.
In the reported period transshipment of coal surged by 30% to 641,000 t, grain – by 76% to 264,000 t, timber and sawn wood – 3.2 times to 103,000 t, metal – 8.8 times to 49,000 t. Transshipment of LPG fell by 49% to 102,000 t.
In January-September, exports increased by 34% to 1.407 mln t, transshipment of coastal trade cargo – by 49% to 590,000 t. Meanwhile, imports fell by 33% to 45,000 t.
The volume of bunkering increased y 67% to 9,700 t of bunker fuel.
877 calls were registered in 9M’15 (+58%, year-on-year).
Port Temryuk is located in the Temryuk Bau of the Sea of Azov. The port operates round-the-year and has 12 berths with a waterfront of over 1,580 meters. The port’s cargo terminals can accept vessels with the draught of up to 4.6 m. Their annual capacity is 6.8 mln t.
