RF Government revises requirements on the use of small size vessels in seaports

RF Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed Decree No 1061 dated October 3, 2015 which revises the requirements on the use of self-propelled and non-self-propelled small size vessels in seaports, press center of RF Government says.

The amendments will let prevent illegal restrictions imposed by transport infrastructure entities on vessels sailing within seaports’ water areas.

Restrictions can be imposed on the use of small size vessels at the sectors of boarding/disembarking of passengers, handling of dangerous goods. Such restrictions are not applicable at the ports of inland water ways.

The sections of seaports’ water areas covered by the restrictions will be defined on the grounds of the ports’ compulsory regulations approved by the Ministry of Transport.
