Rail Cargo Group launches more shuttles from Rotterdam to Austria and Central Eastern Europe

Rail Cargo Group and The Port of Rotterdam have joined forces to offer customers more rail services between Austria / Central Eastern Europe and Rotterdam, the company said in its press release.

Rail Cargo Group will shift their existing intermodal product from Wels to Linz as of October and in addition will increase frequency from 3 to 4 weekly round trips by the end of the year from the deepsea terminals at the Maasvlakte in Rotterdam. End of next year the new Rail Cargo Group terminal in Vienna will be opened allowing for additional connections and antennas from this terminal to other destinations in Eastern Europe.
