Within January-September of 2015 LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (MRC) in port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) handled over 3.2 mln tons of cargoes which is by 10.5% more than the same indicator of the last year, press center of MRC says.
The company handled 3.1 mln tons of export power generating coal which exceeds by 6% the volumes of 9 months of 2014 and over 0.1 mln tons of import manganese ore ( in 2014 the company didn’t handle this type of cargo).
Average day discharge at the terminal increased by 7.7% in comparison with the same period of the last year and the maximum discharge amounted to 270 open-top railcars per day. All in all MRC handled 43 382 open-top railcars and 65 transportation vessels.
Positive dynamics was caused by putting into operation of new equipment – two manipulator cranes MANTSINEN 120R with bucket capacity of 5 м³ and lifting capacity up to 10.5 tons and 2 front loaders KOMATSU WA420-3 with bucket capacity of 5.5 м³ and lifting capacity up to 10 tons and by modernization of logistic system at the terminal.
LLC “Multipurpose Reloading Complex” (included in UCL Port- stevedoring division of the International transportation group UCL Holding) is a cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region, specializing in reception, storage and shipment of export and import general and bulk cargoes. Main cargo reloaded by the company is export power generating coal. In 2014 the turnover of LLC “MRC” amounted to 4 mln tons of cargo.
