Cargo turnover within Ob Basin down 27.6% to 5.35 mln t from beginning of navigation season

Cargo turnover within the Ob Basin totaled 5,350,100 t from the beginning of this navigation season through October (-27.6%, year-on-year), Ob Basin authority told IAA PortNews.

In the reported period, transportation of liquid bulk cargo totaled 129,400 t (-17.4%, year-on-year), 50,600 t of timber (-2.7%) and 4,510,300 t of construction aggregates (-30%).

Passenger turnover within the Ob Basin fell by 4.2% to 810,955 passengers.

Ob Basin waterways authority was set up in 1938.
