By the end of November, the Russian Navy will have received 2 newest hydrographic motor boats (project 19920) capable of task performance at the distance of up to 100 nautical miles, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
One of them will make part of the hydrographic service of the Pacific Fleet, the second one will be delivered to the Baltic Fleet.
The boats have modern equipment onboard with multibeam echosounders and high-precision positioning systems. These complexes allow to perform high-resolution mapping of the sea bottom and to define coordinates with the accuracy of up to a centimeter.
