In January-October 2015, sea transport hub of Taganrog handled 2,405,400 t of cargo (+3.4%, year-on-year), the port’s Harbour Master Service told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of oil products – fell by 42% to 614,000 t, ferrous metal – by 15.2% to 350,900. Transshipment of coal climbed by 45.1% to 527,700 t, grain – by 61.7% to 790,500 t.
In the reported period, exports climbed by 6.5% to 1,776,200 t, transshipment of coastal trade cargo – by 18.9% to 573,800 while transshipment of import cargo plunged 3.6 times to 48,000 t.
In January-October 2015, the port authorities registered 794 incoming and 800 outgoing vessels against 790 incoming and 796 outgoing vessels in January-October 2014.
