Hapag-Lloyd to increase rates for several services

With effect from January 1, 2016 Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all cargo and all container types from East Asia to Caribbean, East Coast Central America and Panama as follows:
 USD 700 per 20' Container
 USD 1000 per 40' Container

With effect from January 1, 2016 Hapag-Lloyd will increase rates for all cargoes and all container types from East Asia to Mexico, West Coast of Central America and West Coast of South America by:
 USD 1000 per TEU

Hapag-Lloyd will postpone the previously announced September General Rate Increase from Indian Subcontinent (ISC) and Middle East to USA and Canada. The effective date now is January 15, 2016.
GRI Quantum is also adjusted as below:
 USD 320 per 20' standard container
 USD 400 per 40' standard container (40' x 8'6")
 USD 400 per 40' high cube container (40' x 9'6")
 USD 400 per 40' reefer container (40' x 9'6")
ISC Origins: Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Pakistan, Chennai, Tuticorin, Cochin, Mangalore, Goa, Haldia, Kolkata, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Middle East: UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
