Logistics property developer Prologis has bought a distribution centre covering around 17,645 square metres at Distripark Eemhaven in the port of Rotterdam. The dc will be let on a long lease to a regular client of Prologis.
Country Manager Prologis Benelux, Bram Verhoeven: “We wanted to expand our position in Rotterdam. The port of Rotterdam, the largest seaport in Europe and the gateway to the European hinterland, is and will continue to be a strategic location. We are investing here because we can see demand increasing and want to offer our clients opportunities for more long-term expansion.”
Prologis, the global market leader in logistics real estate, already has nine distribution centres at Eemhaven, with a total surface area of 133,760 square metres.
