The Northern Fleet major ASW ship Vice Admiral Kulakov, commanded by captain I rank Stanislav Varik, has completed its visit to the Karachi port and now it is performing the assigned tasks of onward cruise in the Northern part of the Indian Ocean, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
While the ship was stationed at the port, the results of the Russian-Pakistani “Arabian Monsoon - 2015” counter narcotic drill, which had been conducted in the Arabian Sea earlier this week, were summarized aboard.
Both sides have praised the joint actions of navy sailors and drug enforcement agencies’ members.
The drill commanders expressed their readiness to the successive cooperation strengthening and conduction of joint events on the provision of naval security.
The Russian ship has cruised since October 23. It has already passed more than 9000 nautical miles and experienced storm conditions.
