Russian Railways was awarded the Korea-Russia Business Award in the category "Company of the Year 2015" on 9 December 2015, the company’s press center says.
The award was given for the Company's active development of cooperation with partners in the Republic of Korea in the field of multimodal transport, including the implementation of the Khasan - Rajin project.
The award was established in 2012 by the Korea-Russia Business Council, with the support of South Korea's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy, to promote Korean and Russian companies, organisations and public figures for their contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea.
