RF inland water ways’ cargo traffic down 3.7% to 117.8 mln t in 11M’15

According Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot), cargo transportation by inland water ways of the Russian Federation declined by 3.7% to 117.8 mln t in January-November 2015.

Passenger traffic increased by 6.7%, year-on-year to 13.4 mln persons (against 12.6 mln passengers carried in January-November 2014).

Handling operations at river ports and berths totaled 139.7 mln t (-8%, year-on-year).
