Murmansk Sea Fishing Port OJSC sold to Kupets LLC for RUB 1,026,831,000
Russian Auction House has held the auction to sell 100% stake of Murmansk Sea Fishing Port OJSC, says press center of RAH.
Four participants of the auction have made 63 steps to increase the initial price by 44%.
The winner of the auction – Kupets LLC – has purchased Murmansk Sea Fishing Port OJSC for RUB 1,026,831,000 (initial price – RUB 711,831,000).
Rosimushchestvo (Federal Agency for State Property Management) tried to sell Murmansk Sea Fishing Port OJSC in 2011for RUB 1.15 bln. The auction was cancelled. Pre-crisis price has been almost reached today despite the weak market and investors’ difficulty to raise funds.
The buyer is among major players in the fishery industry. The company has been operating at the territory of Murmansk Sea Fishing Port for many years and is going to raise the port’s fishery activities to an new level. Besides, the investor will develop other port activities – oil and coal transshipment.
OJSC Murmansk Sea Fishing Port specializes in handling cargo from fishing boats, mother ships and reefer ships. It also transships packaged, palleted and loose cargo, as well as general cargo of commercial and military use. The company’s quay side is 2,765 meters long. It owns port fleet, fleet of lifting equipment, auxiliary equipment, refrigerators, rail facilities and yard engines.
