Throughput of Murmansk Sea Fishing Port down 11.9% to 338,800 t in 11M’15
In January-November 2015, Murmansk Sea Fishing Port OJSC handled 338,800 t of cargo, down 11.9%, year-on-year, says the stevedoring company.
In the reported period, the company handled 199,000 t of fish products (-7.5%, year-on-year).
In November, the company handled 95 fishing ships including 11 large capacity vessels which delivered 1,600 t of cooled fish, 10,000 t of frozen fish, fishmeal and preserved fish.
In November, the highest volumes of frozen fish were delivered by Norwegian ship Swartfoss - 984 t of fish products owned by Murmanrybflot-2 CJSC. It is followed by Russian ship Petrogradsky - 641 t owned by Severnyje Promysly LLC. Among coastal fishery trawlers, the highest volumes were delivered by MK-0245 Aliot (Vestimpex LLC) - 134 t of cooled fish.
OJSC Murmansk Sea Fishing Port specializes in handling cargo from fishing boats, mother ships and reefer ships. It also transships packaged, palleted and loose cargo, as well as general cargo of commercial and military use. The company’s quay side is 2,765 meters long. It owns port fleet, fleet of lifting equipment, auxiliary equipment, refrigerators, rail facilities and yard engines.
