Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk (Ukraine) increased grain transshipment by 9.3% to 4.37 mln t in 11M’15
In January-November 2015, Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk (Ukraine) handled 4.368 mln t of grain (+9.3%, year-on-year), says the port’s authority.
In the reported period, the company handled 11.222 mln t of dry bulk cargo (+26.7%, year-on-year) including 4.064 mln t of ore (over 2-fold increase).
Transshipment of coastal trade cargo totaled 1.059 mln t (more than 20-fold increase, year-on-year).
SE Sea Commercial Port of Illichivsk is a multipurpose international port, one of the largest ports in the Black Sea. The company operates specialized terminals and complexes capable of handling a wide range of cargoes – liquid bulk cargo, dry bulk cargo, general cargo. The port’s 29 berths can accommodate vessels of up to 100,000 tonnes in deadweight. Designed annual capacity of SCPI exceeds 30 mln tonnes. The port’s container capacity is 1.15 mln TEUs. The port can simultaneously handle 3 ocean-going 300-m long container carriers of over 5,000 TEUs in capacity.
