In 2015, port Yuzhny (Ukraine) welcomed 1,135 calls including 141 vessels with deadweight exceeding 165,000 t, the port’s authority says.
The largest vessel handled at Yuzhny was Mineral Edo which accepted 203,590.8 t of cargo at the port.
Yuzhny port is located at the north-western coast of the Black Sea, in ice-free Maly Adzhalyksky (Grigorievsky) estuary, 30 km from Odessa port. The port’s approach channel is 3 miles long and 18.5 meters deep.
