Azeri crude exports via port Ceyhan (Turkey) down 0.16% to 29.08 mln t in 2015

In 2015, exports of Azeri oil via port Ceyhan (Turkey) declined by 0.16%, year-on-year, to 29.08 mln t. According to SOCAR, 291.01 mln t of  Azerbaijani oil have been exported from Ceyhan Port to the world market since the start of BTC exploitation.

Oil is delivered to Ceyhan by 1,768-km-long Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline (BTC). BTC length within Azerbaijan is 443 km, within Georgia - 248 km, within Turkey – 1,076 km. The BTC Co. shareholders are BP (30.1%), SOCAR (25%), Chevron (8.9%), Statoil (8.71%), TPAO (6.53%), Itochu (3.4%), Amerada Hess (2.36%), ENI (5%), ConocoPhilliрs (2.5%), Inрex (2.5%) and Total (5%).
