Russian Railways appoints Oleg Valinsky as Vice-President

Oleg Valinsky has been appointed Vice-President of Russian Railways OJSC by the decision of the Company’s BoD, press center of Russian Railways says.

The BoD also relieved Victor Stepov and Aleksei Vorotilkin of their duties as Vice-Presidents of Russian Railways.

Oleg Valinsky was born on October 21, 1961, in Leningrad. In 1986 he graduated from Leningrad railway college named after Dzerzhinsky, in 1997 - Saint-Petersburg State Transport University.

Oleg Valinsky started his career in 1980 as an apprentice at the Oktyabrskaya Railway.

In 2004 – 2008, Oleg Valinsky was a deputy head of Oktyabrskaya Railway for transportation issues. From August 7, 2008 - was holding the position of the first deputy to the head of Oktyabrskaya Railway.
