ARRC Announcement of short sea Continent/Baltic service

Atlantic Ro-Ro Carriers has announced the opening of a new short sea liner service between Continent ports and ports in the Baltic sea with the launch of a Multi Purpose Geared Tweendecker of 6.300 mts DWT m/v “Langeland” as of 3rd February 2016.

The base ports will be Antwerp/Rotterdam and St. Petersburg, but with a possibility to make calls to other ports on facultative basis.

The service will be open for shipment of general breakbulk, bulk, metals and steel cargoes, oversized and heavy equipment, as well as containers.

It will upgrade existing coverage between Baltic – Continent – USA ports and will facilitate transshipment options for customer’s cargoes to/from destinations across the globe via the Port of Antwerp.

Operational work for new service will be provided by St.Petersburg’s office.
