In January 2016, Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport OJSC) handled 225,000 t of cargo (+4.6%, year-on-year), the stevedoring company told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of fish products totaled 26,300 t (+41.1%), other cargoes - 30,100 t (+59.3%). Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 10.9% to 82,300.
The port’s container throughput fell by 15.4% to 9,073 TEUs
In January 2016, the port handled 48 vessels (-8.8%, year-on-year) while the number of large capacity vessels increased. Transshipment of wagons grew by 26.2% to 2,761 units.
Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port is a multi-purpose reloading complex on the southern coast of the nonfreezing Zolotoi Rog Bay. The quay line of 10 berths which is 2,020 m long, 9 km of railway lines and 3 locomotives enable the company to handle 71 wagons per day. Transshipment of fish products, that is a key activity of Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port surged over 2-fold in 2015 – to 307,500 t.
