Pacific Fleet ship detachment including major ASW ship Admiral Vinogradov, rescue ship Fotiy Krylov and tanker Irkut will take part in the international exercise ADMM-PLUS-2016 which is to take place in the South China Sea this May, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
The seamen of the Pacific Fleet will take part in the exercise for the first time. It will be also participated by representatives of almost 30 countries of Asian-Pacific Region.
Acting within one of the ship groups, the Russian crews will patrol water zone as well as detect and liberate a vessel captured by a simulated terrorist grouping with its further convoying to the port.
Within the exercise, the Russian seamen will make official visits to the ports of Singapore and Brunei.
