Transneft-Logistics, LLC as part of ESPO (Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean) project transported 19.5 million tons of oil

From the beginning of 2016 as part of state project Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) Transneft-Logistics, LLC, using its own railway vehicles consisting of 999 carriages, performed transportation of 238 thousand tons of crude oil along the route Skovorodino station – Gruzovaya station, Transneft says. In total for the period from 2012 the company has transported 19.5 million tons of oil as part of the ESPO project.

Complex operator of 3-4 PL logistics, Transneft-Logistics, LLC, from 2012 provides services on oil and oil products dispatching at loading stations of Transneft, JSC and renders a full range of services of shipping and warehouse logistics for the entities of Transneft, JSC system.

At the present time Transneft-Logistics, LLC is preparing for the transfer to a new level of logistic services rendering – Fourth Party Logistics (4PL). Implementation of the project is based on active development and implementation of its own unified IT-system for managing transportation and warehouse operations, as well as deep integration of the company into business process of the entities of Transneft, JSC system. Modernization of supply of Transneft, JSC system up to the 4PL level will allow improving planning and budgeting of the company’s industrial requirements, securing more effective supply chain management and significant cost cutting.
