On May 26, 2016 Laky Verf shipyard (Shlisselburg, Leningrad region) laid down the first ship of new project, 12М, IAA PortNews journalist reports. The customer is the Directorate for State Maritime and River Supervision of the Federal Agency for Transport Supervision (RosTransNadzor).
Besides, the acceptance/delivery certificate for the Patrulny 11, boat of Project 14М, was signed. The ship was delivered to its customer, RosTransNadzor.
High-speed boat of Project 12М has an aluminium alloy hull. The vessel can be operated in the rivers, lakes, water basins and in coastal sea areas. The boat is intended for patrolling of search and rescue, customs, environment and other services, staying on duty in assigned areas, participation in special operations.
The lay-down plaque on the first vessel of Project 12М-01 was fixed by Valery Poddubny, Deputy Head of RosTransNadzor’s Directorate for State Maritime and River Supervision; Dmitry Atlashkin, Head of the North-West Department of transport safety watchdog Gosmorrechnadzor; Denis Avdeyev, Consultant at the Department for Investigation of Transport Incidents at RosTransNadzor’s Directorate for State Maritime and River Supervision; Konstantin Buryanov, Director General of Laky Verf.
“It is not the first time we take the delivery of a boat from Laky Verf. We mark their high quality and compliance to schedule”, said Valery Poddubny. According to him, RosTransNadzor will take the delivery of five boas in 2016: three boats of Project 12М and two boats of Project 14М. They will be deployed for operation in Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Khabarovsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, etc.
Commenting on the delivery of Patrulny 11, Dmitry Atlashkin said it would monitor navigation at the southern routes of the Ladoga lake. “There are many violations in this are”, explained Dmitry Atlashkin.
Laky Verf is located at Nevsky Shipyard (Shlisselburg, Leningrad region) and has its own production facilities. From 2005 the company specializes in production of steel motor luxury yachts with exclusive design of the interior developed by the famous Dutch designers Guido de Groot and Frank Laupman. Since its foundation the company has built and transferred to the customers 6 yachts of 23M project. All 23.5-meter yachts successfully passed sea trials. The construction is supervised by Russian Maritime Register of Shipping.
