Ust-Luga Port has loaded its 1,000th oil tanker since commissioning

Transneft says the Ust-Luga Port in the Leningrad Region has loaded its 1,000th oil tanker since the oil terminal was commissioned in 2011.

The tanker Delta Victory (Greece) was loaded with 100,000 tonnes of oil. With this volume, a total of 100,133,596 tonnes of crude has been loaded at the Ust-Luga terminal since its commissioning.

Loading of the 100-millionth tonne of oil at the terminal was carried out a day earlier, on 5 June 2016. The oil was loaded onto the tanker Pelagos (Greece).

The Ust-Luga Port oil terminal is designed for loading export shipments of crude received via the oil trunk pipeline of the Baltic Pipeline System-2 (BPS-2). The complex was commissioned in 2011.

The Ust-Luga oil depot is the end point of the BPS-2 oil pipeline and is intended for receiving and storing shiploads of crude oil delivered via pipelines. The oil depot was commissioned in 2011.
